The first consultation

What happens at the first consultation?

On arrival, you first report to the secretary's office. There, the secretary will note down your personal details and process your carte vitale in the administration department.

After that, the first consultation usually begins with a measurement of your lung capacity. This takes place in a glass booth as shown above. You'll be asked to inhale and exhale calmly first, then to inhale and exhale hard once. The data from this measurement are needed as the basis for a good diagnosis.

After the measurement, the consultation with Dr Groenewegen takes place.

Bringing a family member or acquaintance to the consultation can help.

We also ask you to provide relevant information about your health and your background (see also the link on the website "What do we ask of you").
