What happens at the first consultation?
When you arrive, the medical assistant will take charge of your administrative file or update it, as well as the first examination to measure your respiratory capacity.
This takes place in a glass cabin as shown above. You'll be asked to inhale and exhale calmly first, then to inhale and exhale hard once. The data from this measurement are needed as the basis for a good diagnosis.

After measuring your respiratory capacity, Dr Groenewegen will welcome you for the consultation.
The consultation takes an average of 30 minutes when you come for the first time.
If you're visiting for a check-up, it can be shorter.
The length of the consultation may vary depending on what is required, but the aim is always to ensure that there is enough time to properly discuss your complaints and problems.
Bringing a family member or acquaintance to the consultation can help.
We also ask you to provide relevant information about your health and background (see also the link on the "What do we ask" website).
